As part of our tech team:

  • Provide Java development for applications supporting Analytics within the organization
  • Contribute to the investigation and resolution of incidents and problems in systems and services.
  • Participate in problem identification, escalation, and the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure that quality standards are adhered to during development and implementation and contribute to Post-Implementation Reviews.

Key responsibilities:

  • Participates with the product engineering as part of the Agile team to ensure quality standards are adhered to during development and implementation
  • Contributes to continuous service improvement by maintaining best practices and knowledge base
  • Reviews root cause analysis and resolution of problems
  • Participates in the development and deployment of preventative maintenance procedures
  • Participates in Disaster Recovery Exercise

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Software development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience such as: Exposure to design and coding across one or more platforms and languages (e.g., Java, HTML5, JavaScript, .NET, C/C++ ) as appropriate.
  • General Knowledge of distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
  • Ability to understand Agile practices.
  • Able to understand and maximize data structures and associated components.
  • Recognizes the importance of collaboration to achieve objectives.
  • Learns and applies new technologies and techniques.
  • Keeps up to date on current research and technology in the industry.
  • Demonstrates analytical thinking, problem solving and adaptive communication.
  • Ability to learn and deep dive into new technology and business domains
  • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent training/certification, or relevant work experience

Salary Range: $20.00 to $33.65 hourly + bonus + benefits
